Innovations

A vision to mobilise our communities to take part in government programmes of socio-economic transformation, patriotism and peace.

Our approach

IFAMI is continuously seeking creative solutions to the challenges facing our communities. That means enterprise, skills, advocacy and partnerships — not aid alone.

How we innovate

Five commitments

The principles behind every project we choose to start.

01 · Empowerment

Community-led fundraising

We engage in professional fundraising locally and internationally, through government, generous companies and foundations in developed countries.

02 · Sustainability

Projects that keep going

We pursue projects that sustain accommodation and provide the commodities needed for human development, long after the first grant.

03 · Integrity

Honesty in every activity

We uphold the highest standards of honesty and ethical conduct, and we expect the same from every partner and volunteer.

04 · Capacity

Building the organisation

We are strengthening our organisational capacity and building a sustainable funding model so the work is not dependent on one donor.

05 · Encouragement

Young people leading

We want young people to be free, self-supporting leaders of the next generation and of their own families.
